This is a smaller version of our largest terrarium 14x12x12", as requested.
1. This is a house-shaped geometric terrarium made of glass and metal. It is not waterproof/ watertight. It is not designed to hold water. Please pave a layer of sphagum (dry moss) at the bottom and then soil.
2. This spacious terrarium suitable for large insects. like spiders. For tarantula spiders, I still recommend the largest size (14x12x12" one). This enclosure is too large for jumping spiders. We design this size for insects size between the two.
3. How to use it: it will leak and the best plants suits it are succulents and cacti. I do plant moss and ferns a lot and use sphagnum to prevent leaking. But it seems a little hard to know how much should be watered. Thus I made this dry desert style live plants terrarium.
4. Please note: cacti and succulents needs lots of sunlight and you can put them under direct sunlight as many as possible. If you use grow light indoor, please use the most powerful one as long as you can. If you can not provide enough light, please DO cantrol water, otherwise leggy growth will happen.
5. What is included: terrarium only. Plants and other decorations are not included. The planting materials are available on the website, incluidng driftwood. If you have no idea which to choose, please contact me.
